No. Generate your record here, then log in to your DNS provider (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.), create a new TXT record, and paste the two values. That's it. Your DNS provider's support docs will show you exactly where to add TXT records.
Start with p=none and an rua address to collect reports for 2–4 weeks. This shows you all systems sending email on your behalf (newsletters, CRMs, helpdesks). Once you've confirmed legitimate mail passes, move to p=quarantine, then p=reject.

No — you must have exactly one DMARC record per domain. Multiple DMARC records cause a PERMERROR and DMARC processing fails entirely. If you need multiple report destinations, add them as a comma-separated list in the rua tag.
